Valuation analysis

Show the path to value, not just a number.

Build data-based valuation analysis from financial evidence, a quantified strategy and traceable modelling assumptions. Deep Intelligence connects the three-way forecast to a value roadmap at the execution speeds the owner and team can sustain.

Illustrative workflow · Advisor judgement stays in the loop

The workflow

From question to next move.

Ground

Review financial evidence, adjustments, owner objectives and the intended use of the valuation analysis.

Model

Carry the three-way forecast and strategic initiatives into applicable valuation methods.

Simulate

Test ranges, capacity limits and risk under the feasible execution speeds.

Challenge

Use contrary evidence to question assumptions that materially affect the value case.

Review

The valuer reviews each step, chooses the method and assumptions, and owns the conclusion and any further professional work.

Value over time

Quantify what has to be delivered.

A value roadmap makes the connection between a strategic choice, its financial effects and a modelled outcome visible. It can also show when an accelerated path places too much pressure on cash or execution.

  • Compare conservative, moderate and accelerated paths where applicable
  • Show the initiatives and forecasts behind each path
  • Make the owner and team's capacity part of the discussion

Australia's CGT transition

A timely reason to examine value.

From 1 July 2027, Australia's CGT rules change how later gains are treated. For relevant assets held across the transition, market value immediately before that date can matter.

1 July 2027

The Analyst brings financial records, proposed adjustments and assumptions into reviewable valuation analysis. Connect the current value range to three-way forecasts and the strategy roadmap, then test what could build value from here.

The advisor or valuer sets the scope, reviews the method and controls the conclusion for its intended use.

Work that stands up to scrutiny

Keep the method and assumptions in view.

The Analyst traces source figures, adjustments, method selection, calculations, sensitivities and reviewer decisions step by step. Its data-based analysis and documented methods stand up to scrutiny under the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and APES 225 in Australia. Advanced simulations test a range of outcomes. The valuer checks the evidence, applies professional judgement and controls the issued conclusion.

  • Inspect the valuation method and its inputs
  • Review sensitivities and contradictory evidence
  • Check the professional requirements for the intended use

A possible use

Frame an exit discussion earlier.

For owners considering an exit, connected financials and assessments can support a valuation analysis and the evidence behind it. The advisor can use that as a basis for a transaction conversation and determine what further valuation work is required.

  • Clarify the owners' value expectations
  • Test how alternative strategies affect the range
  • Present reviewed assumptions with the result

The next conversation

Make the next decision clearer.
