For the past 10 years, my team and I have run Philotimo Global—a consultancy that's helped hundreds of businesses across dozens of industries figure out what's actually happening in their companies and what to do about it.

Five years ago, while preparing to launch a baby boomer investment fund, we hit a wall. We needed to analyse private companies quickly and thoroughly - looking at hidden risks and historical patterns beyond basic financials.
